Job Title: Information Technology Business Partner
Department: Business Process and Technology
Reports to: CFO/CEO

Position Overview
The Information Technology Business Partner (ITBP) serves as the strategic bridge between U.S. operations, global IT teams, and external technology partners. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery, optimization, and security of technology and data services across Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain. The ITBP will drive technology alignment with business objectives, lead critical projects, and foster a culture of operational excellence.

This leadership position manages an onsite IT Specialist, supports end users at all levels, and oversees IT initiatives that are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with company growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between U.S. operations and global IT counterparts, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operations, mitigate risks, and ensure data security.
  • Manage and mentor IT staff and end users, ensuring high performance and quality support on-site, via remote channels, and through the company’s ticketing system.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution guidance.
  • Optimize resource allocation to meet fluctuating support demands while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Develop and coordinate architecture plans and solutions for SAP integrations (R3 currently, S/4 in the future), improving day-to-day user productivity.
  • Generate and analyze performance reports to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and success metrics.
  • Maintain transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, including regular updates on support activities.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies; recommend tools, training, and protocols to improve services and efficiency.
  • Lead major IT projects and technology initiatives, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and alignment with business needs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key application vendors, partnering with Finance to manage the technology budget and reconcile vendor accounts.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on the business application and data landscape, capturing requirements and managing project prioritization.
  • Document applications, data, and reporting landscapes; troubleshoot complex problems and ensure solution implementation meets business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize, standardize, or automate business processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience in IT leadership.
  • 8+ years of IT management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry; alcoholic beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in IT strategy, infrastructure, and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, TPM, ECM, pricing tools, e-commerce, analytics, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and master data governance).
  • Multilingual capabilities preferred—English required, German a plus.

  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and teams effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, SAP, e-commerce platforms, Concur, Sovos Tax, SharePoint, workflow tools, and master data management solutions.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office, 1 remote.
  • Travel required to international and domestic company locations as needed (approx. 3 times/year to global headquarters).
  • Availability to respond to urgent IT issues outside of regular business hours.
