Job Title: End Area Inspector

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Shift: 1st

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Assists in various inspections duties, with the use of hand held inspections equipment (Drifting, Stenciling, Gauging, etc.) 

2. Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner with supervisors and/or co-workers. 

3. Read and interpret instruction manuals and pertinent literature. 

4. Maintain a clean, safe working environment and observe all safety policies and procedures. 

5. Perform various physical tasks (Cleaning, Doping, Thread Protecting, etc.) 

6. Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with supervisors and/or co-workers. 

7. Other duties may be assigned by the Reclamation Yard Supervisor. 

8. Overtime work may be required in this position. 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 

2. Must have a minimum of 40 hours on the job training consisting of OCTG NDT training. 

3. Must receive Level I Certification before operating equipment. 

4. Must pass the following test(s): Ultra Sonic Test, Drift Test, Visual Thread Inspection Test, Depth Gauge Test. 

5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material specifications, operating and maintenance instructions , inspection and procedural manuals. 

6. Ability to communicate effectively to supervisors and other employees. 

7. Have good housekeeping skills. 

8. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. 

9. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. 

WORK RELATIONSHIP 

Reports directly to the Reclamation Yard Supervisor.
